monitor video card not recognized

Hi, I am running the beta on a primary partition dual boot with winxp my monitor is a samsung sync master 753 df vista does not recognize it as Pnp, any one else have the problem or hopefully a workaround my second problem is with ati radeon 1600 ati drivers(beta) will not install fully only the secondary adapter is reported again any one with the same problem or workaround thanks
